Just got my approval to join so thought I'd introduce myself. I mainly shoot late 1800's singleshot rifles and collect/shoot Marlin Ballard and Remington Rolling Block and Hepburn rifles, all with bullets I cast for them. I also form brass for most of my oddball cartridges when needed.

Welcome. The Pacific Northwest is a good place for cast bullet shooters. Matches at Clark Rifles in Brush Prairie the third Saturday March through October. Matches at Paul Bunyan in Puyallup; Military is the second Saturday and Traditional Benchrest is the third Thursday March through October. There is much activity in the Plain Base Class.

I shoot at Douglas Ridge in Barton, Oregon, but no cast bullet matches. We do have a 1000 yd. range and steel buffalo and target frames that are open to long range shooting one day each week. The rest of the ranges are open the other 6 days.
