I found a bunch of brass today for my Mosin rifles. You don't usually find this stuff laying on the ground. Anyway. I can not find this maker anywhere. And NO it is NOT Starline.

I can't find anything with this star. Google said two things. One it is Lapua, and the other it is Federal. I know it is not Lapua. They mark their as 7.62x53r. I have a BUNCH of that.

This new made by how it looked when I picked it up. It did not have that old brass look to it. Grafs used to sell some brass that they said was USA made but they no longer list it.

Well the Bulgarian Military ammo uses a star but yours looks commercial and modern. Good luck finding it.

With rifle in hand, I confidently go forth into the darkness.

Have fun searching these sources:
 1)https://afte.org/resources/headstamp-gallery/  https://afte.org/resources/headstamp-gallery/

2)https://cartridgecollectors.org/headstamp-codes/ https://cartridgecollectors.org/headstamp-codes/

I would start with this one that came from the First one as it uses SYMBOLS:

1A)  https://afte.org/resources/headstamp-gallery/symbols/

Even if ya don't find it at those links, the links may be handy in the future . ;-)

I was just trying to help out if I could,  as well as offer some links that might come in handy some time in the future.

G'Luck in your search.
