I just heard that LBT's machine shop burnt down on Dec. 24 2022. No more molds from Veral Smith. If this was posted already sorry, I never saw anything about it.

Ya, it happened back on Christmas Eve.  I heard about it from Lever Action Gypsy who was supposed to go to work as an apprentice for Veral.  Veral posted a letter on his website a few weeks ago. https://lbtmolds.com/Portals/143/Content/Files/Fire%20Destroys%20LBT%20Machine%20Shop.pdf

'Artisan' in Lead, Brass & Powder.

The loss of Veral's machinery and equipment is a tragedy for the entire cast bullet community.  cry

FYI --  NOT having insurance is asking for a loss to become a disaster.

it would be nice if Veral or someone else manufactured the LBT lube. it wouldn't take much equiptment.

Greetings,

I just bought ten sticks of LBT Blue Commercial.

The lady I spoke with on the telephone says they have plenty.

Bad news, the company that supplied one of the ingredients for the LBT Blue Soft discontinued the material.

LBT is currently working on a new formula for the LBT Blue Soft.

Cheers,

Dave
