Hello Bryan,

I hate to seem dumb, but what in the world is a Kudzu rat?  You seem to be well armed, for the shoot, and I take it you are somewhere east and south of Eastern Arkansas. Looks like fun.

...i love this story ... i have since childhood had this vision of them, after a month before I was missed,  finding me cold at age 126 sitting under my favorite hedge tree with my Stevens Favorite on my lap and my harmonica stuck in my mouth ... maybe the last notes of * Over the Rainbow * lingering in the air ...

Hello Ken,

I have had two friends, who left this earth, in the manner that you mention. They were both found setting on the ground, leaning back against a tree with their rifle in their lap. HOWEVER: Neither one of them was playing the harmonica.

That last photo I posted was taken on the 100 acre track that includes the house. Just past this small holler, is another 300 acres where the woods really start getting purdy!!

This photo was taken just about right smack dab in the middle of the 300 acres...mountains both sides and drop down into the creek. I have yet to even hunt the 300 acre tract. May hunt it next year....but I will scout it for bear activity this year. Landowner had a bear in his yard a few times, lives on another 20 acres by the road...LOL.

This would be him at the beaver dam at the bottom of the 100 acre tract. The barn is about 50 yards to the right and my deer stand up the right slope about 100 feet and 200 yards away.
