Jam making.

My dear, late mother taught us how to bake, cook, preserve etc.  

Last week I made fig jam and plum/rhubarb jam.  All from fruit from my garden (that had been frozen).  12 jars for less than $10.  What's not to like about that?

Also made some rose hop syrup earlier in the year after my rabbit shooting trip.

In the last 9 days I have made 12 pints and 12 half pints of plum jam. Good stuff! Plum/rhubarb sounds delicious Jeff.

My mother used to make fig jam.  Best jam I ever had. Unfortunately her recipe passed with her.
