i am a CBA member and i would like to participate in my first postal match. The gun that i want to use is my 91/31 1943 mosin nagant. i’m using a NOE 314-210-RN mold. it is in ATI synthetic stock with a timney trigger. what class can i shoot in?

what is the difference between the group and score targets? i’m assuming i have to purchase targets through the CBA. i have yo shoot the targets and than turn them in by the dead lines. i see that some of the matches have several months listed. i’m assuming that means it’s separate match each month ?

thank you

If the new stock is no wider than the original military stock you could shoot modified irons or scoped with you Mosin depending on your sight preference.

i will have to double check with the orginal stock. but, i do not believe the ATI stock is any wider. it might be more narrower actually.

Correct. When you sign up for the Season version, you shoot one target a month. But you can just shoot fewer if you like. The only “down side” is you would not be eligible for the aggregate award, which requires participating in all (4) months.

Score targets have scoring rings for points. Group targets have the spread of the two farthest apart bullet holes measured. Where the holes are located on the target is not important.

Give it a try, you’ll have fun!

Typically you will shoot both group and score targets.  When you sign up Mike will send you the targets.
