Hello,
I bought another rifle today, so now I need another mold. I bought a Winchester 86 in 33WCF. That is one rifle that I have never owned, in my 79 years .It's the light weight with half mag and a light weight barrel. It has the climbin Lyman sight on it,and also has the original open sights, which I''ve always thought to be one of the neatest sights, in my eye. It's definiitely a shooter, not a gunsafe queen. It has custom wood, which is a professional job that can't be told from original Winchester stocking. The bore is excellent and locks up very tigh,t no looseness in the bolt at all. I have seen targets fired from this rifle and they are very impressive. It's a good candidate for one of my rust blue jobs and that It will get.
Enough about the rifle and lets get to the mold I need. I prefer a gas check mold in a heavier weight than the 200 Gr. that the original ammo was in. I also prefer a GC mold. I have borrowed molds to use untill I locate my own .If you have a mold that you would part with , let me know.
Does this mean that I am a gun nut? the first time out of the house by myself, and the first time that I have driven since early December, and I go buy a rifle. It liked to scared my wife to death when I took offf by myself. Man was that trip fun and was I pooped when I got home.
