Can someone explain to me the rules for the heavy class,bench requirement. Cartridge is 223. Thank you. John

14 pound weight limit. Besides that just about anything goes with the HVY guns. Look at the BR rules for explanations on rests and any other questions you have. If you're not shooting a purpose built HVY rifle I'd look at other classes you might fit in.

2frogs our class rules are on the home page>matches>match rules>benchrest rules. Give them a read and then ask specific question if these is something you are unsure about. Otherwise we could just copy/paste the rules into this thread, and that does not make much sense.

He was a good man. I shot with him a couple of times at Nationals. It's sad to see a lot of those guys have passed on. I was probably one of the younger bucks at the time so am still around, at least temporarily. Glad to see you're carrying on the shooting tradition.
