hey, my names michael. i’m a new member of the CBA from chesaning mi. I am married, have one daughter, and will turn 38 yrs old july 6th. i was a member for a year in 2016. i just renewed my member ship again. im looking forward to competing in postal matches. currently i just bought a 200 grain Noe mold for my mosin. im hoping to be casting and working up loads within a week and a half.

at this moment i am casting for my savage 325c. i’ve been having issues getting it to group either jacketed or cast. the cast bullets were 160 grain FN bullets from missouri bullet company. i’m thinking with the slower barrel twist it dosent like heavier bullets. next thing i’m going to try is i bought a 130 grain single cavity lee mold.

this week i will be starting to cast and work up loads for my 1943 mosin nagant. i purchased the NOE clone of the lyman 314299 mold. only thing i am waiting on to start this project is the .314 lube sizer and .308 gas checks. i plan on first using unique and will go from there.

i have other guns but, including a remington 460 30-06 which, i think will be a good cast candidate. i can use the 314299 clone for that also
