Where would one go to find a Delrin rod to push a pig through a barrel?

I've been using one for years to wipe between shots in my Model 74 Sharps BPCR. Thought I got it at Sagebrush Outfitters but they might now be out of business. Or might have been someone in Arizona (not Bruno). I don't think Brownells offers them. MVA and Shiloh do not list them.

They have to be out there somewhere.

Found this on the Shiloh rifle forum.

There is a member on this forum that goes by the handle patchbox…. He makes very nice three piece Delrin rods that are very durable and come with an 8–32 threaded end so that you can run your pusher jag or regular cleaning brushes. Shoot him a DM…

He also makes excellent Delrin bore wipers tgat use patches instead of those felt wads.

True, most of the guys on Shiloh rifle forum make their own. They often talk about the composition differences in the various "delrin" blank stock that can be bought.

They also make their own handles. My .40 cal rod is 3/8" dia. Threaded on one end for the handle to screw on and a patch "jag" is machined onto the opposite end.

I bought mine from Track of the Wolf.  They have a bunch of different sizes.

I have seen the BP ramrods and ramrod blanks but am seeking the more flexible opaque delrin rods that you see in some of the Youtube videos of the long-range shooters using to push pigs through the rifle. Perhaps the ramrod blank would work.

Thanks David. The ones on Amazon are too short at 4 feet. I had checked there first of course a while back but they don't have what I need. The 5 foot rods work better for a bore pig and handhold in a >32" barrel.

McMaster Carr has what I need. Carl put a link in his reply a few posts up and they are due tomorrow.
