Well....I just spent $165 for 1000 CCI #11 Caps on MidwayUSA. It was $119 plus shipping plus Hazmat. That is it for me. These will have to last the rest of my life because frankly, I have been priced out of the market at this point. With any luck, my wife can sell them for $50/can after I am gone if any are left.

I need to just shut the heck up and slowly fade away into the background.

You guys!

I have a few rock guns fortunately. I built my Isaac Haines in 1989 and she has served me very well by putting lots of meat on the table as well as burning powder at rendezvous. I shoot a Kentucky flintlock Pistol as well in 45 caliber. I bought that one.

I use those caps for my assorted Cap & Ball revolvers. I really enjoy shooting those rascals!

My Kentucky roots. That's my granny sitting in my Great Grandmother's lap. To the left are my Great Great Grandparents. Photo was taken in 1895. I'm a hillbilly if you haven't figured that out by now! :-)

I walked into Sportsmans last week and they had CCI #10 caps for $11 a tin.i bought all 10.I hadn't seen #10 caps locally in a few years.

three years ago a local store had  #11 and #11 mags on sale  for $5 a tin.i got a sleeve of 1000 of both.the guy rang them up for $5 a sleeve ! I told him it was per tin, not per box of 10.He corrected me rather rudly so I bought the other 9 sleeves of 1000.I feel guilty (sort of)

I shoot my old army revolvers 4 or 5 times a month.

the cheap primers and the closeout $10 a pound Black MZ make for cheap shooting.

"if it was easy we'd let women do it" don't tell my wife I said that!

Don't feel bad about buying those primers George. As a shopper it's not your responsibility to fix stupid.

She was the third wife of GGF Benjamín Clark who had outlived the first two wives and married her when he was 50 and she was 18.  He volunteered at age 16 for the 1st KY Calvary for the Mexican American War in 1848.
