Being frugal I would rather make something than spending money for something. I made up some boxes to hold small caliber cast bullets that allowed a fella to easily get the bullets out of the container. I had a bunch of extra RCBS die boxes that were just waiting to be used, rather than being tossed. The two photos show that a fella needs to removed the plastic pieces that are on the inside of the die box. I used a Dremel tool with a small cut off wheel.
The second photo shows the wood bullet holder than goes in the plastic die box. for .22 and .24 cal bullets I used a 1/4" brad point drill bit. This box will hold .22 cal bullet- Lyman #225438 in the box, and one 24 cal- RCBS 95gr cast bullet. Simple to make and free. I use these for going to the range when I load at the range, and just for storage in the reloading room. One can put foam rubber, styrofoam or just some layers of newsprint to keep the bullets from falling out of the holes if the box gets turned over.
I'm sure others have made some similar boxes out of wood than look a lot nicer than these.
