to me

Good day,

Thank you for your inquiry.
We are unable to answer your question at this time as we do not currently plan to resume production of D060 powder for various reasons. We do not exclude that we will return to it in the future, but we cannot determine the exact time now.

Thank you for understanding.

Best regards,

We are hoping to get more soon! We are still facing global supply shortages and with ongoing war in Ukrain.

And mine for 38-55, 45-70, and 45-90. Let's hope they make and distribute more to North America for sporting use.

I have (2) rifles in .38-55. But will admit I've never tried Buffal Rifle powder. There must be some advantage to it over other powders? But might not matter now, with it being discontinued.

It supposedly is same as 5744.  Used the same load data in 30-06.  Worked very well with less barrel heating than the old 5744.  Have just enough to shoot the nationals.

According to Shooters World (Explosia), it is 5744 and it absolutely SHINES in straight walled BP cartridges as well as some other cartridges where one may wish reduced loads with NO WADDING and the associated "issues" with wadding. Correspondence I had with Shooters World advised it could be used with any Accurate 5744 load data since it actually is the same powder. I am seriously going to miss it when I run out. I'll have to use RL7 again. RL7 while lower pressure powder leaves a LOT of unburned powder behind as well as poor consumption percentages in the burn. But one can bump it up to increase case filling with powder and avoid large air spaces in large cases like a 45-70.
