I recently read Ric’s Fouling Shot article on the 32-20.  I can’t use all of it right now, but it was a tour de force on the subject, so much so that I printed a hard copy for my files.  It has some great data regardless of the 32-20 interests each reader has.  Well done, Ric!

Potential writers don’t have to be Shakespeares or have the experiences of Elmer Keith. Glenn is most accommodating when accepting submissions.  Remember, the only way the Fouling Shot will be able to continue to be a quality publication is for volunteers to step up and submit articles on their interests and experiences.  Remember what your Mommy taught you, “It’s nice to share!”

OU812,

Interesting list of topics.  That should keep you busy for a while.  I will look forward to reading your results.

We need to discuss that one, shoulder pressure, comparing round military forends and flat BR forends.

Here's one more.

Tighter groups using forward shoulder pressure. How to set up bench without breaking rules.

I will be retiring the end of this December so I will be doing some testing. I am not a writer but I do like to post. Maybe I will submit an article or two.

Mixed cases vs. best cases.

Powder coated bullets "lubed vs unlubed"

Bumping the bullet to get more perfect fit.

Soft vs real linotype alloy.

Any others?

Just a comment

Some of the longer posts on this forum are most of a good interesting article.

I will bet that some of those excellent posts are written by shooters who claim "I can't write".

Give it a try.  Let more shooters in on your good ideas, test results, or hunting stories. It will be a contribution to the CBA that pays and works to keep this forum going.

Your article probably won't win the Nobel prize for literature but there is satisfaction in helping other shooters or sharing your stories.

Greg,

I thought you were copying me on those emails and they were intended for Glenn. Sorry for not responding.

You want the Fouling Shot Editor, Glenn Latham.

[email protected]

He checks his email at least every week, if not more. And always looking for articles.

Good evening!

I have been trying to contact David R. as I recall that he sent out a message with some CBA info once or twice and also mentioned that the Fouling Shot was always on the look-out for articles from members. I sent him an email the other day and mentioned that I have an article that is within a couple of days of being checked by me and wound up and that I probably should get his mailing address so I could send it on to him. I haven't heard from him and that caused me to think that perhaps I hadn't contacted the correct person to send the article out to? If David is the correct person, then I will wait until he contacts me. Thank you for your help!

Feel free to contact me also.

Several of our new writers and I hash out ideas and work cooperatively on various experiments and projects.

I'm willing to advise on load data, bullet design, editing issues, photo suggestions, and even to help make things read a smoother if you aren't quite sure how to say something in American English...

I also bang concept drafts off people here all the time for sanity checks and suggestions.  This isn't a competitive process, we all learn from each other and share what we have learned.  THAT is the whole idea!
