Since there are some questions floating around about the Friday (June 6th) Fun shoots; here goes. Remember that this is a pretty flexible program on the Friday afternoon for fun and a little practice on the side. Sooo... Since it is D Day we are trying to work out a 3 gun competition with a Garand, carbine and 45 Auto. This will not be setup like a traditional CBA match so expect to use 10 to 20 rounds in each category for score. This is a new concept for us so more details later. M1 carbine shoot- issue and scope. 10 rounds each at 100 and 50 on TQ4. Viva Villa- homage to the Wild Bunch. Lever carbine in pistol caliber at 100 and appropriate pistol at 50 OH 10 rounds. So 1873 Colt, 1911s or something pre1916 like a Luger, Steyr etc. Both on TQ4 Crazy Carcano Carbine Confusion- somehow we have been over run with Carcanos so 20 rounds at 100 on TQ4. Caleb Duncan and I have a grudge match using our wives AR15s planned; so feel free to call out a friend and have your own grudge match. Or just sight in, or shoot at 300, or just hang around and kibbutz for awhile. If you're having some fun, then it's a winner.

Update time.

The format for the D Day 3 gun match has been narrowed down to this. Each firearm is shot on the TQ4 target for 10 rounds. There are no sighters for this match. You can zero beforehand but not during the match.

M1 Garand is bench rest at the 100.

M1 carbine is bench rest at the 50.

1911 (issue style, no super modified ones) is at the 25.

There will be some loaner firearms available if you need them and it helps if you can bring your own ammo.

Update.... I decided to cancel the Viva Villa this year since we are having the 3 gun shoot to pay homage to D Day this year. Still having M1carbine shoots, Crazy Carcano Carbine Competition, and other spontaneous events. Maybe a 300 yd challenge?
