Our range has 30"? high speed fans blowing on the benches. Barrel heat mirage is Gone!! So are ammo boxes, notebooks, brass, pencils, scope caps, adjustment caps and outer garments. (The purple prom dress is fine.) It's nice to stay cool and have no barrel mirage. Just a little training and I can overcome-I did! Talk to your range commanders, I can take pictures! Shazam!

I prefer my little 5” battery powered 2-speed fan blowing at an angle in front of my scope. Keeps my skirt from blowing up...:-)
