That could work as long as;
there is sufficient clearance for the .458 bullets in the suppressor after being threaded on the Encore barrel.
The loads are kept sub-sonic with lighter weight bullets using powders similar to what is used in the 45 ACP. The use of 300 gr or less bullets loaded over Bullseye would be suggested.
Heavier bullets with slower burning powders, even though sub-sonic, may have too much exit pressure and damage the suppressor.
And you never ever fire a regular 45-70 rifle load through the suppressor.
All the above is conjecture on my part based on considerable experience with numerous different suppressors. My 45 ACP suppressor is used on a 45 ACP pistol and a M98 Rhineland conversion to 45 ACP with standard 45 ACP ammo. If you try it be very careful about the loads and make sure the suppressor is co-axial with the bore.
