been posting about how my older Star is not lubing like it used to, and have gotten some excellent replies and advice. unfortunantly nothing has worked. has improved the situation, but lube (3 diff kinds) is not filling the grooves. used to be one pull of the handle and grooves were filled. finally broke down and called Magma. explained the situation, he asked if the bullets were cold. and even i am working in a shop at 60 deg, yes they are cold. he suggested heating up the bullets first THEN running em thru, as lube won't stick to a cold bullet. problem solved! used a hair dryer on em. 3 days of frustration solved by a 2 minute phone call. story of my life.
