I hate to have to tell you all this but 45 2.1 (Bobby Kell Jr) has been severely injured in a tree cutting accident. On Monday he was cutting trees for firewood and one that he cut fell and then bounced up severely smashing the one side of his head. He was air lifted to a St. Louis hospital. He has brain swelling and bleeding, and he has lost his hearing. Let up pray for him and a speedy recovery.

Prayers for a full recovery.
Long time Caster/Reloader, Getting back into it after almost 10yrs. Life Member NRA 40+yrs, Life S.A.S.S. #375. Does this mean a description of me as a fumble-fingered knuckle-draggin' baboon. I also drool in my sleep. I firmly believe that true happiness is a warm gun. Did I mention how much I HATE auto-correct on this blasted tablet.

I just got this update from Starmetal Joe;
"They reduced his sedation and they put a trach in him for just a short while. He responds to commands, got his hearing back, can only barely whisper. They said he will have a long time in rehab. We're all praying for him. He had a massive head injury. It was to the front right side. I'll keep you updated Bruce, you keep replying.

Update on 45 2.1 Bob: The prayers have been answered men! He's talking now and on the road to recovery. He's at a rehab center. Seems he's in full control of his facilaties. It will just be a matter of rehabilating him and are satisfied and put him out the door. Jesus Christ, the Lord, came through for Bob and us. I'll thank you all for him.

It is sure good to hear Bobby is making a good recovery! I’ve cut a few trees down in the past (purely an amateur) and can definitely state it can be a hazardous task!
