My grandson, Hunter (his name) and his first two deer. Spike taken on day one and doe on day two. He is 12 years old and was using a 270 Win.

The shots in the head (?????????), his dad told him to. I have since educated him on shot placement.

That's awesome David! My 9 year old grandson and I got to spend some time together in the woods this year. He did not get to shoot one with me, but he got two this year with his dad. Browning X-bolt in 6.5 Creedmoor did the trick. No cast bullets yet, but Pop is working on that. There is nothing like kids to keep excitement in the game, first with our own children, now it's the grandkids!
