POWDER CHARGE, VELOCITY AND ACCURACY
With Titegroup and Nosler 40 and 53 gr bullets, it starts to look like:
Velocity/Powder Charge is linear, both over a 5.5 gr-8.5 gr band, and over 0 gr-8.5 gr band.
There are no obvious kinks so far, suggesting that velocity can be accurately interpreted between data points.
Accuracy is pretty constant over a smaller band of powder charges, suggesting that charge increments < .5 grains have no accuracy effect, and that there are no kinks in the relationship.
This can be seen in the CHRONOGRAPH and LOW VELOCITY JACKETED BULLET workbook graphs, which I don’t know how to put here. Perhaps…
