I recently received the sad news that Norm Duesterhoeft died July 10 at his home in Mt. Vernan Minnesota.
Norm was a long time member of the CBA and an enthusiastic cast bullet shooter and competitor. He competed in both our traditional benchrest matches and in military rifle. He was also a contributor to this forum.
Norm was an interesting, pleasant and generous shooter and a gentleman. He may be best remembered by those us who were there for loaning Stan Livingston his rifle and ammunition at one of our national matches a few years back after Stan's rifle had broken. Neither Norm or Stan had been doing particularly well in the match at that point. But Stan promptly not only beat Norm with Norm's own rifle and ammo but won the aggregate for that match.
He will be missed.
