Hello to the forum: Have any of our members had expierience with bullet molds that offer different pin inserts to create various nose shapes. I am looking to buy a new .454 mold and am wondering if they are any good. Several companies offer these molds in aluminum and brass. They usually offer a couple different hollow point and flat nose options from the same mold. Before I buy one are there any caveat's I should be aware of? They are not cheap but might save the price of 2 or 3 molds. Thanks for any help.

MP molds out of Slovenia offer such and are extremely high quality. He offers the Cramer style hollow pointing system which allows you to cast HP's at about the same rate as solids.

NOE molds are American made and superior to anything else.

sluggo  While I'm a big fan of Noe moulds and have a lot of them. The Hollow point system used in the MP moulds is easier to work with, make a cleaner nose and drop from the pins much easier in my opinion.  Gp
