Just purchased this 72 grain 223 NATO bullet mould. May be a good bullet for the AR with NATO chamber. I will let you know how well it shoots. Bullet looks tapered much like the NATO chamber.

My Colt H Bar with heavy 1-7 twist barrel has the NATO chamber. I also re cut my factory Remington 700 223  (1-12 twist barrel)using a PTG 5.56 NATO reamer.

Bullet looks tapered much like the NATO chamber.

 

It is as it was designed off of several Nato throats, along with a lighter 62 gr. version. I've been trying both at longer range out of 7 & 8 twist AR's with very good results. I would be interested in the 12 twist results as to whether it with be stable and accurate.
