With being right in the middle of fire season, working six days a week and only being able to hunt between Nov 22 and Dec 11......I only made a few trips to the woods. First time hunting in NC and on public game lands as well as having to scout as I go, maybe next year I can settle down in an area.

I like the picture.
There are a lot of good places to hunt public ground in NC. I was there in the Army at Ft. Brag, and had plenty of places to hunt. When in the Army I was moved every three years or so. I was always scouting for new hunting grounds.

I found another place to hunt till Jan 1st....I might get to go once or twice more. I'll be ready for next year!
