I came across the cast bullet association on eBay last year and decided to join for the fouling shot and books. Ive been reloading for several years but took a break for about a year since buying a house. Hopefully this year I’m planning on getting setup to cast my own and I look forward to learning more from members here and maybe attending some shoots

Always nice to have another sufferer from lead alloy addiction.

Be sure to enroll in our 12-step program:

Park close so you have only 12 steps to the bench. big_grin

Welcome! What do you plan to cast for?

Mainly pistol but some rifle. I’ve shot a lot of lead pistol (hunters supply from midway), but would like to cast my own especially for rifle.

I’ve seen the shoots listed, it’s about 2 hours for me. I haven’t been out shooting in the last year and half since I moved.

What calibers do you plan to load for?

My friendly  advice is make the drive. Shoot what you have. It'll be fun if you make it so. Learn to cast for one rifle at a time. Ask others for help if you need it or just listen to what other shooters chat about at a match. So much knowledge in our community. So much bs and "conventional wisdom" that isn't as well, but so much can be learned from other members. I have learned something at every single match I have attended.
