I've been shooting 32 acp in my 327 federal single serven. This a lot of fun and surprisingly accurate. I shot up all of the hand me down cast reloads this I had on hand. I only have 105 semi-wadcutter bullets to use. I have a wide range of hand gun powders to use. I'm guessing bullseye and AA2 are out.

Are you looking for .32 ACP data to use with 105 SWC in your .327 or .327 data?

Seating the 105 SWC out long in .32 ACP cases 2 grains of Bullseye or AA2 will be fine, but unless bullet will chamber in feed in a steel framed .32 ACP pistol at 0.95" minimum OAL I would look for another bullet.

If loading .32 ACP only for use as plinkers in the .327 no issue exceeding .32 ACP data a bit for best accuracy, as long as rounds are longer than 0.985" so that that won't fit in an autopistol magazine, in case they get used inadvertently.

How does the 32 ACP headspace in a 327?

.32 ACP case is semi-rimmed, not rimless.

HS is a bit loose, but driven protrusion is enough to set it off.  Practice is not recommended in light frame .32 S&W Long revolvers because .32 ACP is loaded to higher pressure and "pistoning" of the fired case against the frame bolster will set back the staked-in firing pin bushing on Colts.

Yes I have always found that odd that .32 auto pressure is 20,000 and so is .32 S&W, but .32 S&W Long is only 15,000.

Yes Ed plinking rounds for the 327 is exactly my aim. I had a new shooter out this past weekend and we burned up about 100 of them. Very little recoil and they hit steel plates with good authority. Two grains of no. 2 it will be. I had a bunch of pierced primers using the stuff that I was given so I may use small pistol primers

YES, from those thinner semi-rimmed cases "pistoning" back against the recoil plate

Something worth taking into consideration is with the max headspace of the 327 @ .070 and the min rim thickness of the 32 ACP of .034, that's .036 of headspace.

It would be worth checking the 327's actual headspace and checking the actual 32 ACP rim thickness that your using.

Pistoning would explain the primer thing. Thanks, I may just spring for the better fitting cases.

32 S&W Long cases are dirt cheap over the internet sales places and with light loads last almost forever.

Agree!  And you could use .32 H&R too.  If the twist in that Single-Seven is 16", you can stabilize a 130-grain bullet subsonic.  I shoot 155-grain Accurate 31-155D in my 14" twist Colt .32 NP subsonic with 6 grs. of 4227.

Indeed. Not sure what the point is using the 32ACP brass in this revolver.  As Ed noted, this gives loose headspace and the brass will hit the firing pin area of the frame pretty hard with hotter loads.

Knowing that 32 ACP can be used in 32 S&W long and magnum revolvers derived from it as a kluge if you don't have proper ammo is good.  Making up 32ACP rounds with long-seated heavy bullets for the wheelgun does not make any particular sense to me, though.

I mean, why would you cook yourself something to eat, knowing that this particular recipe always gives you heartburn?

I only shot a bunch of them up because I had them given to me. The heart burn analogy is heart "warming". I have 500 Starline 32 long cases waiting in my wish list. I would go with the h and R's but the shorter ones are easier to sort out. If anyone wants a pint of unknown .32 acp brass I'm yer Daisy.
