What a great cover. Thanks ED.
What is the wool under the 310 tool? Looks like a German Hunting back pack.
Thanks,
Jon

I gave up sizing cases with my tong tools rather quickly. But that neat little priming tool I used for years to prime thousands of cases.
Note: it actually supports the cartridge body. Current tools use shell holders and do not. They allow the case to tilt, seating the primer at a slight angle. You can turn the case 180 degrees and re-seat, but this is extra work.
I never seated a primer backwards or tried to seat one sideways with the tong tool.

Yes, I bought the ruck at a gunshop in Milan while on shopping trip with Giorgio when I went to visit him in 2011.
Also a Beretta wool cape and a proper Italian hunter's broad brimmed Fedora to keep the rain from running down my neck.

I do love the wool. Thanks Ed for sharing.
I lived in Germany for 5 years and got my German hunting license. Green wool was standard dress. With a tie of curse.

I thought Dr. John put out a new song.
BRILLIANT! I'd buy five copies for my mother.

Wrong Doctor. The referenced song was Doctor Hook, Doctor John was a different style. Dr. Hook had some GREAT stuff...

You're right. Memories from back then aren't always so clear.

The cartridges would be .30-30s

Interesting. I knew the empties were 30-30. The perspective makes the loaded cartridge seem a lot smaller than the empty brass to me.
