Some of you may gave seen my earlier thread titled “ 8mm “Go/No Go” Chamber Gauge Question.” When I took this old inherited rifle out for the first time earlier this week, I shot it with eight left over rounds that I had loaded back in 2013. Looking over the fired cases this afternoon, I noticed a split neck on one of them.
I have routinely annealed some of my different caliber brass over the years, but never tried annealing any nickel-plated brass. Just thought I would ask you folks if that’s possible, or even recommended - or not? TIA, Tom
