Kerner 16x16-7x57R Drilling

Got some Brenneke slugs for the Kerner early this week so when I went to the range Wednesday afternoon I decided to try them along with REM , WIN and Federal slugs . But at $250+ they may have to wait awhile . As to the slugs I suspect over time I'll try and kill a deer with each of the four but once that's done I'm going straight Brenneke I think ! Oh FWIW , shooting 30 slugs thru a gun causes one to clean a bit more then usual to get the bore nice and shiney again ! But the fact that I was getting lead particles from the bore certainly shows one that the hollow bases of the Foster style slugs obturate plenty !
