But this thing outta be okay for the side by side event in the VA State Trap shoot this year ! http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/pix949790681_zps4w7sciwe.jpg.html>http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/pix582138914_zpsrgtio4v4.jpg.html>http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/pix330980756_zps8fklj6h0.jpg.html>http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/pix852253676_zpsyxilaw5c.jpg.html>http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/pix476267013_zpsgsvmgg6k.jpg.html>http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/pix296703096_zpsizxdiutl.jpg.html>http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/pix721415676_zpsdg9zmnub.jpg.html>

Just got the gun and it's actually better then I anticipated . Case colors are still pretty decent on the action . The blueings a bit worn on the barrels but such is life . I've not measured the dimensions on the stock but it “feels” like a more modern gun rather then one made in 1912 . The barrels measure 32” exactly as listed in the book .  http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/IMG_6417_zpswo19tuus.jpg.html>http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/IMG_6424_zps3lyyoxns.jpg.html>http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/IMG_6425_zpsbthirhts.jpg.html>http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/IMG_6426_zpsvm0p8r1h.jpg.html>http://s50.photobucket.com/user/6pt-sika/media/Parker%20VH%2012%20gauge%2032%20inch%20circa%201912/IMG_6423_zps1wenm2c8.jpg.html>

This gun has rather modern dimensions drop at the comb in 1 1/2” , drop at the heel is 2” . The LOP is 14 5/8” , a touch long for me but I can live with it . I took the two screws out of the trigger guard and rotated it around a bit and the wood under the trigger guard is stamped with the same serial number as the rest of the gun as it should be .

I am planning on going to the rifle range early Monday so since I've not fired it  I may take my new to me Parker VH 12 gauge 32” and try some handloaded buckshot at 25 yards and maybe even some handloaded handcast Lyman sabot slugs .
